Dye your own face mask using sustainable pigments made from fruits and vegetables from EarthDance on our outdoor chess patio! EarthDance will demonstrate how to create dye from garden produce, then lead participants through the dyeing process and walk away with a custom-made face mask. Inspired by our current exhibition, Check, Please! Chess Dining & Decor, EarthDance will also be serving chess pie and samples of their in-season produce. Supplies are included.
EarthDance Organic Farm School grows food, farmers, and community through hands-on education and delicious experiences. Their 14-acre historic farm provides a model of sustainable food production and is the oldest organic farm west of the Mississippi River. They welcome people of all ages and walks of life to learn the craft and science of organic farming, and help fight food insecurity by making fresh, nutritious produce available to everyone, regardless of income.
